The 2008 Accord is bigger and roomier and sets a standard as to what a competitive automotive in midsize family sedans should look like by combining a brilliant balance of performance, value, and efficiency into one powerful engine that is capable of leading the pack. The powerful 3.5-litre V6 is a great engine that produces strong acceleration and fuel economy. The 190-hp four-cylinder engine is also another good option that can do no wrong on any highway drive. Both engines have been modified and are more powerful, which matches or surpasses their predecessors in terms of fuel economy. To cap it all with a mark of class the 2008 Honda Accord is also quieter owing to the additional sound-deadening materials used for its construction.

The sedan’s base LX comes standard with 16-inch steel wheels, fold-down rear seats, and tilt-telescoping steering wheel with a feature that includes: cruise control, an auxiliary audio jack, full power accessories, and a six-speaker stereo with a single CD/MP3 player and a lest I  forget a keyless entry. For the sedan’s LX-P trim, it added 16-inch alloy wheels, auto up-down front windows, and a power driver seat. The coupe’s base LX-S trim comes with the standard LX-P’s equipment but added an in-dash six-CD changer.

The sedan measures 14 cubic feet in cargo space, which is at least a cube less than its major competitors. The coupe offers a respectable 11.9 cubes for similar two-door cars. One major complaint about the 2008 Honda Accord is its centre control stack, which is packed with too many buttons that make it look cluttered and hard to get used to.
