2018 Rolls Royce Phantom for sale – For over 10 years, the seventh generation of the Phantom has served as the pinnacle of the Rolls-Royce lineup. This vehicle shows what pier and luxury are but later on, the Phantom started to seem a little outdated. While the materials and craftsmanship can be timeless, there is an expiration date for the technology and the Phantom offered few advanced driving aids.

For the 2018 model, Rolls-Royce Phantom changed the redesign and equips it with a long list of high-tech safety features along with new luxury upgrades and more customisation options. There is now a new aluminium space frame that provides the backbone of the new Phantom’s architecture. Rolls says this structure not only increases stiffness and reduces weight. These are accompanied by a new air suspension and four-wheel steering that provides a more dynamic driving experience.

2018 redesigned Phantom is not only the most lavish Rolls-Royce you can buy, it is also the most exclusive luxury sedan in the world.

2018 Rolls Royce Phantom Trim Levels

The 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom is a large ultra-luxury sedan that can be tailored into a seemingly infinite number of ways to match the buyer’s taste. There are two versions available which are the standard Phantom and a roomier extended wheelbase (EWB) that gives roughly 9 inches of legroom.

No matter the body style, the Phantom is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 engine that produces a healthy 563 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. It powers all four wheels via an 8-speed transmission that uses the navigation system to change gears based on ahead road conditions.

2018 Rolls Royce Phantom Standard Features

Both the two versions of the 2018 Rolls Royce Phantom come with the same standard features which include;

  • 21-inch wheels.
  • Laser headlights.
  • A road-reading adaptive air suspension.
  • Power-closing doors.
  • Leather headliner.
  • Heated and ventilated front massaging seats.
  • A navigation system.
  • A 10.25-inch central display.
  • A head-up display.
  • Wi-Fi hotspot.
  • A 16-speaker audio system.
  • Starlight headliner.

2018 Rolls Royce Phantom Engine and Driving

The 2018 Rolls Royce Phantom’s twin-turbocharged V12 engine produces a massive 563 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque.

According to Rolls, it is good enough to move the big beast from 0mph to 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds. Changes to the structure and suspension should make this Phantom a bit more fun to drive than the previous year model.

2018 Rolls Royce Phantom Fuel Economy

The 2018 Phantom has a low fuel Economy at 12 mpg city run and 20 mpg highway run which makes it better than the Rolls-Royce Ghost by just 2 mpg.

The 2018 Rolls Royce Phantom has exotic materials blanket in every inch of the cabin. You would expect nothing less from a car that retails for a cool half-million.

The 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom provides unparalleled levels of passenger comfort, exemplified by the camera that constantly scans the road and prepares the adaptive dampers for road irregularities.

The Rolls-Royce has both a standard and long-wheelbase version of the Phantom. The latter is stretched by 8.6 inches which makes additional rear-seat legroom. Rear-hinged coach doors open to allow graceful and dramatic arrivals and departures. The rear-seat passengers can be treated to a myriad of luxuries like deep-pile carpeted floor mats, power-adjustable seats with massage, a refrigerated console compartment, and remote controls for the car’s infotainment system.

The Phantom has a 10.25-inch central display screen that uses a variant of the parent company BMW’s iDrive infotainment system. The iDrive, especially the latest version, is fairly easy to use. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are not featured on the model.
