2021 Hyundai Elantra for sale – The 2021 Hyundai Elantra compact sedan goes longer in nearly every way: it casts a longer shadow compared to the outgoing sedan, it travels longer on a tank of fuel, it has a longer infotainment screen, and comes with a longer list of options.
In terms of exterior styling, the 2021 Elantra takes many cues from the larger Sonata. Upfront, it showcases a large jewel patterned front grille and sleek headlights. Along the side are two aggressive body lines that create a triangular shape across the front and rear doors. Around back, the sharp, rather pointy taillights mirror the headlights. A light strip runs the width of the trunk connecting the two taillights and keeping the aggressive lines continuous around the body of the car.

On the inside, the new Elantra also sees major upgrades. Many elements have carried over from the initial images, with a clean look oriented around the driver. The dash carries a seamless design with air vents running from door to door. The gauge cluster and the infotainment screen grow to 10.25 inches each, with both becoming integrated behind one piece of glass. Technology upgrades include segment-first wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with Hyundai Digital Key which allows drivers to use their smartphone to unlock doors and start the engine.
Style and performance
The 2021 Elantra borrows its sleek profile and longer hood from the Sonata sedan that was overhauled for 2020. The Elantra’s front bumper is closer to the front wheels, but the cowl has been pushed back by about 2 inches, which makes the low hood look longer.
The first powertrains detailed by Hyundai don’t necessarily deliver on that sporty innuendo, however. Most Elantras will be powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 that makes 147 horsepower and drives the front wheels only via a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). That CVT simulates stepped gears like a conventional automatic transmission but will help the Elantra deliver 35 mpg combined or better on the EPA cycle, according to Hyundai.
