Overall, the Camry Hybrid now has five model categories: LE, XLE, SE, XSE, and the aforementioned Nightshade, which is based on the SE trim.
Safety enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the Camry will be equipped with a more comprehensive active safety package. The Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ adds automatic high beams and a traffic signal assistant (RSA), both of which function in conjunction with the adaptive cruise control system. When the vehicle is activated, it will automatically adjust to the posted speed limit.
The rest of the lineup has also been updated. Rear seat boosters are now standard, as are dual-zone temperature control (three-zone in TRD) and an improved floating media display in either 7-inch or 9-inch sizes. Heated exterior mirrors are standard on LE and SE grades, Ice Edge colour is optional on LE, SE, and XSE grades, and TRD gets an exclusive colour.
