The Suzuki S-Presso is a small hatchback car that was introduced in 2019. It has multiple trims and is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine. The S-Presso is popular for its compact size, and fuel efficiency, and is a great choice for city driving or as an affordable first car. This new variant of the popular hatchback gets a host of aesthetic upgrades. Most notable are the new stylish alloy wheels that take the place of the original steel wheels with hub caps. The S-Presso also gets new black plastic claddings with silver accents on the doors. The same accents can be found on the grille, the front and rear bumpers, and the skid plates. Inside, the S-Presso also boasts a few additions. There’s a new silver trim that adorns the center console, A/C louvers, and side panels to match the exterior look.
2023 Suzuki S-Presso Exterior
The Suzuki S-Presso has a boxy exterior, with four doors and a rear hatch. Its design is reminiscent of a hatchback on stilts, featuring a taller ride height compared to other vehicles in its segment. The front and rear bumpers are black plastic, and it has halogen lamps for both the front and back. The car runs on 14-inch wheels.
The S-Presso AGS’ EASS tech worked fine when I was crawling through C-5 traffic. There were a few occasions though that it didn’t shut down the engine when the vehicle came to a full stop. Also, at longer stops and when the EASS was activated, the S-Presso’s aircon power tended to decrease its intensity. To counter that, you simply have to lift your foot off the brake pedal for the engine to start again, which brings the car’s aircon intensity back to normal.
2023 Suzuki S-Presso Interior
The Suzuki S-Presso on the interior features a black-themed interior with plastic accents found all around the cabin. Its seats come in black fabric material with the center part of each seat coming in with a red cross-stitched pattern adding a bit of sportiness to the interior. Setting it apart from the rest of the vehicles in the segment is a center-mounted orange gauge cluster. While it may take some time to get used to the odd confirmation the gauges are placed well within the driver’s line of sight.
The Suzuki S-Presso for safety features the company’s HEARTECT platform. This gives the vehicle cabin protection in the event of a collision by efficiently absorbing and dispersing the crash energy. It utilizes tensile steel to achieve both lightness and stellar safety performance. On top of the platform, the vehicle also comes with dual airbags for the driver and front passenger, as well as ABS and 3-point seatbelts for all occupants.
