The Honda Accord is like a really good all-around sedan. For years, it has proven to be one of the best midsize sedans on the market, and for very good reasons. Some of the Accord’s strongest attributes are its solid fuel economy, ample comfort, and easy drivability. Honda is also known for being a very reliable brand. The 2025 model of the Honda Accord was recently released, and here is all you need to know about the 2025 Honda Accord.

Overview of the 2025 Honda Accord

The Accord got a makeover in 2023, with improvements like a stronger hybrid engine, a cleaner gas model, and updated tech. It stayed the same for 2024 but got some small changes in 2025. The 2025 Honda Accord has six trims: LX, EX, Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring. Even though there aren’t as many midsize sedans as before, the Accord is still the top choice. Both the regular and hybrid engines give smooth acceleration. The steering could be better, but the brakes are solid, and the handling is predictable. The ride is great with smaller wheels, but there’s more noise inside compared to other cars in its class. The Accord also has a stylish interior, which is similar to the Civic’s but not exactly the same. The base touchscreen could be bigger, and some materials on the lower trims feel rough. If you want a premium interior, you have to go for the hybrid, but all models come with lots of safety tech as standard.

Engine, transmission, and performance

Just like the 2024 model, the LX and EX versions of the Accord come with a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine with 192 horsepower and use a CVT to power the front wheels. They don’t come with all-wheel drive like some other cars. The hybrid version comes with a 2.0-litre engine and two electric motors that give it a total of 204 horsepower. This hybrid setup is available in the Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring models. It takes about 6.5 seconds for an Accord to go from 0 to 60 mph. The Accord remains classy and enjoyable to drive. It feels steady on the road, the steering is accurate, the handles turn well, and the ride is comfortable.

Fuel economy and MPG

The Honda Accord hybrid should get around 51 miles per gallon in the city and 48 miles per gallon on the highway. The regular Accord without the hybrid system isn’t expected to get as much mileage, with about 29 miles per gallon in the city and 37 miles per gallon on the highway.

Just like the exterior, the interior of the Accord has a modern look with features similar to those of other new Honda cars. For instance, the air vents are hidden behind a fancy honeycomb design, which you can also find in the new Civic and CR-V. Honda has made changes to the front seats to give better support to your back and redesigned the trunk to fit up to 16.7 cubic feet of stuff. The LX, EX, and Sport versions have cloth seats, while the rest have leather seats.

Infotainment and technology

The Accord has either a 7.0- or 12.3-inch touchscreen for its infotainment system, which is easy to use. Every model, no matter the version, comes with a 10.2-inch digital display for the gauges. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available on all models, but only the ones with the bigger 12.3-inch screen can connect wirelessly. The top-of-the-line Touring models have extra perks like a wireless charging pad for your phone, a 6.0-inch head-up display, and a fancy 12-speaker Bose sound system.

Safety and driver assistance features

Every Accord comes with Honda Sensing, which has a bunch of safety features. These include things like automatic emergency braking and warnings if you start to drift out of your lane. There are also features like adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition. Some of the main safety features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control, all of which are standard.
