A recent series of pictures that appeared online show moments from the Governorship inauguration ceremony in Ogun State on the 29th of May, 2023.
The picture-sharing started after a tweet that said: “Na only Police men attend Ogun State inauguration” appeared online. Immediately, someone commented on that post by posting pictures from the event.
Pictures show the governor, Dapo Abiodun, arriving in a Safari truck at the venue. Another tweet captioned the post: “Compare the shenanigan with the Celebration in Osun, Kano, and Abia States. The People know who they want.
Many who commented on the post said that the only reason the Governor of Ogun State drove a Safari truck to the inauguration ground was that he knew how bad the roads in the state are.
Under the post, someone said: “If he had fixed Agbara/igbesa/Sango road and the Lagos/abeokuta road, we all could have been there. For now let the rains wave to back to him.”
