If you’re looking for an iconic Mini design in a useful crossover shape, you’ll surely like what the 2020 Mini Cooper Countryman offers. There are three available engines, all turbocharged: a 134-hp three-cylinder for the base Cooper, a 189-hp four-cylinder in the Cooper S Countryman, and a plug-in hybrid powertrain for the Cooper S E Countryman that combines the turbo-3 with an electric motor.

The plug-in hybrid Mini Countryman gets a higher-capacity battery pack that nets a few more miles of electric-only driving range.
