In 2017, Nengi was a contestant in the beauty show, the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN), in which she emerged as a top 5 contestant although she did not win. Adding to her journey in the beauty industry, she has been a winner of two beauty pageants consecutively in 2013 & 2014- The Queen of Trust Pageant in 2013 and the Miss Peace Bayelsa in 2014.

Even as a beauty model, Nengi is an Entrepreneur. She owns a shoe line business called Shoes by Flora, in which she sells and ships shoes to people from all over the world.
On entering the BBNaija season 5 lockdown house, she became the first Head of House, in which Wathoni Anyansi became her Deputy. She was also the first BBNaija season 5 housemate to have up to 100,000 followers on Instagram. On her personal life and family life, she is quite personal with such information, but she revealed that she would love to take care of her family including her nephews and nieces if she eventually wins the prize money of N85 million. During one of her diary sessions with Big Brother, she revealed that she is thankful to have been on the show, as this was one of her biggest wins. She also revealed that she hoped to make her Grandmother proud of her.
