Nissan begins production of the all-new Pathfinder 2022 in the United States of America at the company’s factory Smyrna in Tennessee. Customers will be also offered the new option of captain’s chairs in the second row, as well as the ProPILOT Assist with Navi-Link. Nissan claims that the cabin of the new Pathfinder is now a much quieter and refined place to spend some time in, featuring acoustic laminated glass, thicker second-row windows, and more sound deadening in the doors and floor.
The three-row SUV market is hot, and the Nissan Pathfinder had fallen behind in fact, it skipped the 2021 model year entirely. Now it’s back for 2022, fully redesigned with the bold exterior styling, a higher-tech interior, and a revised powertrain. The Pathfinder offers seating for seven or eight passengers, aiming to gain a competitive edge in the three-row SUV segment. If Nissan’s newest crossovers are any indication, the 2022 Pathfinder may be a more serious player than the last-gen model.
The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is offered in S, SV, SL, and Platinum trim levels. Outside, wheel sizes range between 18 and 20 inches. LED headlights and taillights are standard. Premium features include a panoramic moonroof and a power-operated cargo door.
