Following the brutal killing of the 200-level student of Sokoto’s Shehu Shagari College of Education, who was stoned and burnt on the school grounds for allegedly blaspheming Prophet Muhammad, this has drawn a lot of online and offline outrage both in Nigeria and globally.
The popular Nigerian pastor, Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry set off to fulfil his promise to Deborah’s family.
He gave his family a car and a house. He also offered automatic scholarships to Deborah’s siblings and also transferred the family to Port Harcourt.
On Tuesday, the pastor shared photographs of the family receiving the flat and car on his Facebook. He wrote,
“In fulfilment of my earlier promise and in honour of the late Deborah Samuel, I on behalf of the Omega Power Ministry relocated and donated a 14-flats-mini estate and a Corolla car, for Uber business, to her family in Port Harcourt.
“The Estate was registered in their name immediately.
“May God take all glory and honor. Amen!”
Also, following the brutal killing of Deborah and the outbreak of violent acts in the state, the Governor of the state, Aminu Tambuwal has placed a curfew on the state.
