The Audi RS6 Avant Performance and the RS7 Sportback Performance are the most powerful and fastest Audi cars yet. Audi has even stepped an inch further, raising the bar and packing both models with more punch than ever before.
Some interesting specs of these cars are; the 4.0-litre V8 Biturbo TFSI engine that now puts out 630hp and 850Nm.
Even though these don’t sound like a lot by today’s standards, for a supercar, they are impressive.
The RS6 and RS7 Performance’s 630 horsepower represents a 30 horsepower and 50Nm increase over the outgoing non-Performance models.
Irrespective of which Performance model you opted for, you’d be able to do 0-100km/h (62mph) in 3.4 seconds.
With this performance rate, it’s two-tenth quicker than the old models. You’d also reach a top speed of 280km/h (174mph).
In case you’re wondering how Audi has achieved this increase in power output, it’s basically bolted on a couple of bigger turbos and cranked the boost up to 2.6 bar from 2.4. That’s not all Audi’s done, either.
The Performance version of both these models has gone on a bit of a diet shedding 8kg (down to 2,090kg and 2,065kg for the RS6 and RS7, respectively).
Audi says the Performance duo “will thrill customers with an exciting, next-level sound experience.”
Full Equipped Features Of The RS6 & RS7
Standard equipment includes a Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System with 3D sound, Park Assist Pack with park assist plus, Head-up Display, 360-degree cameras, and 22-inch wheels in matte grey.
Visually, the exterior style package in matte grey is also now standard, while the RS sport exhaust comes finished in gloss black, along with the Audi rings and badges.
The RS Design Package in either red, blue, or grey is now standard, along with an Alcantara flat-bottom steering wheel.
The RS Dynamic Package is standard on both new Performance models. This includes increasing the maximum speed to 280km/h (174 mph), dynamic all-wheel steering, and the Quattro sport differential on the rear axle.
It can also be upgraded with the RS Dynamics Package Plus, which, in addition to the RS Dynamics Package, raises the top speed to 304km/h (189mph) and includes an RS ceramic brake system.

Both the Audi RS6 Avant Performance and RS7 Sportback Performance will launch on December 8th.
The RS6 Avant Performance is priced at $134,899. The RS7 Sportback Performance is priced at $139,276.
