It’s no news to say that talent knows no bounds in Nigeria. It’s not the first time a Nigerian has built a movable car from scratch using available materials.

That’s precisely the case for this Nigerian man whose video recently surfaced online. The car with an unusual look of an aeroplane was spotted in Ondo state, where residents gathered to watch a man driving a newly built whip he called “the aeroplane car.”

In the video, the man is driving his car from Akure to Abuja when it unsurprisingly encounters mechanical difficulties along Itaogbolu road in Ondo state.

According to people on the scene, the car moved fast until it encountered difficulties.

It’s interesting to know that many Nigerians have automobile skills even without adequate resources to pursue this interest. Indeed, if only automobile innovation and support would be directed towards these people with keen interest and zeal to produce movable vehicles, there’s no telling how much it’ll advance the automobile space in Nigeria.

This notion was supported by those within the scene who believed that the owner of the “aeroplane car” would do even more if given government support.

According to the car owner, he says that his gold-painted car runs at 120 Km/hr.

Interestingly, he was able to fix the car, which he drove off to continue his journey to Akure. At the same time, those watching applauded him for his innovative skills and the unusual-looking car.
