As fuel scarcity and high petrol prices continue to plague Nigeria, car dealers in the country have begun importing more electric cars, particularly Tesla vehicles. Just this week, there have been reports of more electric cars arriving in Nigeria, including the Tesla Model Y and the 2024 Rolls Royce Electric Spectre.
According to an Abuja-based car dealer, Automobil Poacher, a brand new Tesla Model Y 2023 model with original custom duty is priced at 137 million naira.
The 2023 Tesla Model Y is a compact, all-electric crossover SUV that can seat up to five passengers, with an optional third row for seven. Its sleek design features a sloping roofline, LED headlights, and a large panoramic glass roof. The Model Y comes in three trims: Standard Range, Long Range, and Performance, although we cannot confirm which trim this particular car in Abuja is.
