Jeffrey Benson Biography
Jeffrey Benson, popularly known as JeffBenForex, is a popular Nigerian professional forex trader, the founder of Firepips, and co-founder of the forex proprietary firm, “Consumate Trader” alongside Damilare Ogundare. The Forex trader was born on the 26th of October (year unknown) in Edo state and hailed from Delta State in the South-South region of Nigeria.
Born into a family of 10, he lost his mother at nine and had to relocate to Lagos with his older siblings. In Lagos, he completed his Secondary education and later enrolled for higher education at Delta State University in 2013 to study Law until he dropped out in 2015 to pursue freelance opportunities online.

After dropping out of Uni in 2015, he took up various freelancing opportunities, including photo and video editing, voice transcription, and many others on platforms like Upwork and Fiverr. In 2017, Jeffrey got into Forex trading, which became the very thing that changed his life.
Mastering the trade and trading in EUR/USD and GBP/USD before later sticking only to GBP/USD, he had his first breakthrough, where he flipped an account from $25,000 to $240,000 in six months. After that, he received his biggest loss of $190,319.25 in a day on the 21st of May, 2019. Despite his loss, he remained calm and even took to his Instagram page to share his loss, saying: “Yesterday losses made everyone wowed!! That’s forex we would have a great comeback guys!! Cheer.”
Jeffrey later bounced back and later launched PipsHub, where he mentored those interested in learning about forex trading. On the 1st of January 2019, he ditched the PipsHub brand and launched Firepips, a brand/company for mentorship that is still functional to date.
Jeffrey shows his followers both the highs and lows of forex trading on social media. In August 2022, Jeffrey was challenged to trade for 30 days and buy a house. At the beginning of September 2022, he achieved his dream of home ownership in Lagos, Nigeria.

Buying a home is not the only forex trading challenge Jeffrey has engaged in. In April 2023, he set a new challenge to trade throughout April and purchase a car. He made a profit of $818,941.75 and withdrew $810,000 on the 30th of April, 2023. In May 2023, he used the proceeds to purchase a brand-new 2022 Range Rover Velar.

In September 2023, he purchased a new Mercedes CLA45 worth millions of Naira from Mayfair Autos Ltd, a popular car dealership in Lagos. He also wrapped the CLA45 with yellow vinyl, carried out by Khaz_customs, the same automotive car upgrade shop that wrapped Nigerian singer Wizkid’s Lamborghini Urus.
