Leaked photos of the 2024 Tesla Model 3 show that the vehicle might be in line for a complete makeover before it finally launches in 2024.
From the leaked photos of the vehicle, it suggest that there’s a high-performance dual-motor version of the Tesla Model 3 coming to the market in 2024. The leaked photos were revealed by an X (formerly Twitter) user known as The Kilowatts, who uncovered a catalogue for the 2024 Tesla Model 3.
The leaked pictures show a new badge that points to the Performance Model 3, as well as sport brakes, suspension and wheels upgrade.
In September, it was revealed in a Dutch vehicle certification document that plans for a new flagship Tesla Model 3 were on the way. The document listed a new Performance variant with dual electric motors, rather than three of the electric motors of the 761kW Model S Plaid.
However, reports note that there’s been a power boost for the updated model compared to the 393kW and 3.3 seconds in 0-100km/h sprint time in the outgoing Performance.
The leaked catalogue also shows a 20-inch wheel design available in either black or silver known as the “Warp.” It’s noted that there will also be a new 19-inch black and silver wheel design different to the 19-inch “Nova” alloy that’s been already unveiled by Tesla.
However, there’s no set date for when the updated 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance will arrive. Tesla has not even confirmed that they are currently working on the vehicle. However, reports show the vehicle could be going into production by the end of the year.
