Lincoln is giving its hot selling new Corsair SUV some attractive updates for the 2021 model year that should make it appeal to a wider range of buyers. New available features will include things like camera washers front and rear, and an updated CoPilot 360 package. This pack adds things like a 360 camera, adaptive cruise, traffic assist, lane centering, traffic sign recognition, park assist, and so many more features.
Powering the Corsair are two different options. The 2.3L Turbo 4 cylinder makes 295HP and 310 lb-ft of torque in its top-spec while a 2.0L Inline 4 is also available with 250HP and 280 lb-ft of torque.
Another big update will be the addition of a new Sport package that will be available on the Reserve and Grand Touring trims. It adds things like new 20in wheels, new body-colored bumpers, a black Lincoln grill, and more.
What’s New for 2021 Lincoln Corsair?
The Corsair finally gains its Grand Touring plug-in-hybrid model for 2021. The powertrain consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor, a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), and standard all-wheel drive. Lincoln is also introducing two new appearance packages.
The Monochromatic package adds 20-inch black wheels and body-color exterior trim while the Sport Appearance package adds 20-inch polished wheels, body-colored front, and rear bumpers, a black mesh grille, and illuminated door-jamb scuff plates. A towing package is also available, and two new exterior colors (Asher Gray and Silver Radiance) have been added to the options sheet.
