Mercedes-Benz introduced an ultra-luxurious Maybach version of their electric EQS SUV, perfect for those who value a fancy ride!
The SUV has only four seats instead of the usual five to seven and comes with high-end features like posh leather, reclining seats, and a bottle cooler. The price hasn’t been disclosed yet, but it’s expected to be way more expensive than the standard EQS, which starts at ₦76,212,000, so probably closer to ₦146,000,000.
Inside, the SUV’s cabin is even more luxurious than the normal EQS SUV’s cabin, which was already made of expensive materials. The unique “Maybach” theme of the optional Hyperscreen entertainment suite is set off by high-quality leather, exposed wood, and gold.
With the First Class Rear Seat package, which replaces the second and third rows with two large recliner chairs and a bigger centre desk, the second row is the most luxurious. The centre is full of features, such as a wireless phone charger, a 7.5-inch wireless control tablet that can be removed, champagne glasses and cases with the Maybach logo, and a small refrigerator. The refrigerator takes up a lot of space in the SUV’s trunk space, but it’s easy to take out by pulling a single handle.
The SUV also features a unique sound update. When drivers get close to and unlock the Maybach EQS, they hear a powerful, well-balanced explosion of sound. Once the SUV is on the road, it fills the vehicle with a unique “Aerial Grace” active sound production theme, a Maybach-specific ambient light theme, and a smell called “No.12 Mood Ebony.” Fancy.
