An online report revealed that Morocco is currently the only African country that supplies the highest number of passenger cars to Europe.

According to the report on @Africafactszone, the Northern African country exported 464,864 cars worth $11 billion in 2022. Currently, in 2023, the country continues to export cars and is now Africa’s largest exporter of cars and second-largest producer of cars.

However, many say that these cars exported from Morocco to Europe are not Moroocan vehicles but are mainly European brands with factories in Morocco. From this information, it appears Morocco is competing with South Africa in the category of an African country with the highest number of foreign car plants located in the country.
