Hyundai has recently introduced a new high-performance addition to the Ioniq 5 lineup known as the Ioniq 5 N. This model is set to arrive in March 2024 as a 2025 model and features multiple go-fast enhancements over the regular Ioniq 5. The Ioniq 5 N has some similarities to the Kia EV6 GT.
The official purchase price of the Twin Motor AWD version of the Ioniq 5 N is $67,475, and it comes fully equipped. However, it is quite expensive compared to all of its competitors. Dealers in Nigeria are expected to charge wild markups, leading to a 100 million naira Hyundai, which is not too far-fetched.
The Ioniq 5 N features an 82kWh battery pack with new front and rear motors. It can make 601HP or 640HP in Boost mode, reaching 0-60 in under 3.25 seconds with a 162MPH TopSpeed.
Additionally, Hyundai equipped the Ioniq 5 N with massive 15.7in front brakes, and the updated regen system can provide .6G of braking force. The N Race mode allows drivers to choose between ‘Endurance’ and ‘Sprint’ settings, while N e-shift and N Active Sound+ simulate the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission by controlling motor torque output and simulating the jolt you get when shifting gears.
The exterior design features a .78in lower, 2in wider, and 3in longer body with new aero, 21in wheels, and a sporty interior with N seats, logos, and more! However, the pricing for this model is yet to be announced.
