Wizkid has acquired Nigeria’s priciest sports car, a 2024 McLaren 750S MSO. This comes just days after Davido took delivery of his new electric SUV, the 2024 Rolls Royce Spectre, coinciding with Burna Boy’s 2 billion naira purchase of a 2025 Ferrari Purosangue.
A video shared shows the moment Afrobeats artiste, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, picked up his 2024 McLaren 750s MSO at Polanco Exotic Cars, a Lagos-based luxury car dealership. This 2024 McLaren 750s MSO is alleged to be priced at $900,000 (₦1,537,000,000).
The latest 2024 McLaren 750S builds upon the 720S. While McLaren claims that around 30% of its components are new, spotting the differences requires a keen eye and a parts catalog.
Unlike the brand’s smaller, more affordable Artura, which features a plug-in hybrid twin-turbo V6, the 750S sticks to traditional performance with its 4.0-litre V8. The powertrain incorporates twin turbochargers, a technology McLaren has used in every vehicle since its return to road cars with the MP4-12C in 2011.
