2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB For sale – Just like the swoopier, coupe-like GLA-class, the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB-class had the same luxury and equipment as most larger Benz SUVs in a more affordable package. The GLB model has the same chassis and power train as the GLA, even with its turbocharged four-cylinder engine and optional all-wheel-drive system but the design is better and it has an additional cargo capacity, along with an available third row of seats. New for the 2022 GLB model is the optional Premium package which now includes both SiriusXM satellite radio and a 115-volt power outlet.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class comes in just one trim level but there is a 4Matic model that adds all-wheel drive. Also included are heated seats and the Premium package adds more features like blind-spot monitoring, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, power-folding side view mirrors, keyless entry with push-button start, and dual 10.3-inch digital displays for the infotainment and gauge cluster. There is an AMG Line body kit available, but it only gives a Mercedes-AMG feel without the performance of one.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB-class has a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 221 hot. The engine also comes with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive. During its performance testing, the all-wheel-drive ran from 0 mph to 60 mph in 6.0 seconds. For an SUV, its ride and handling are agreeable and competent.

The front-wheel-drive GLB has an estimated fuel economy rating of 23 mpg city run and 31 mpg highway run with 26 mpg combined. The all-wheel-drive version has the same rating but the highway is different and receives 30 mpg. The numbers are lower compared to the rival’s fuel economy. The GLB250 4Matic out-performed its fuel economy rating with a 32 mpg result, beating its rival, BMW X1 by 1 mpg.

The GLB-class has a spacious interior with 20 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second-row seats and 62 cubic feet when those seats are folded down, which is almost equal to that of the BMW X3.
The entry-level GLB-class is not very well equipped, but it comes with standard features such as power front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. Heated seats will add an extra cost as well ventilated ones. The third row of seats is optional.
