In a recent video that was posted on his Instagram page, the popular car influencer and reviewer Ola of Lagos gets an opportunity to review the brand new car that the superstar Nigerian singer, Davido, just took delivery of.
The vehicle in question is the singer’s limited-edition Mercedes Maybach worth over N600 million. In the review, Ola of Lagos starts by congratulating the singer and moving on to explain that the vehicle is a limited-edition luxury car that has only 150 units of it made in the whole world.
The Maybach S680 is one of 150 units specifically designed by the late super-talented American fashion icon and designer Virgil Abloh.
He notes that Davido purchased the vehicle for $600k and spent over $120k to bring it down to Nigeria (which is the price of a 2023 Mercedes GLE). He explains that Davido is the first person to bring this car into Africa.
The Maybach S680 comes with several luxury interior features, like wireless charging, an entertainment screen on the passenger seat, and a panoramic sunroof that can be controlled with a finger sensor.
The Maybach S680 comes with 30 speakers, the door handle comes with a button control electric sensor for ease of opening and closing, and it comes with two Mercedes-Benz wireless headphones.
The limited-edition Maybach S680 comes with a 6-litre V12 engine that produces 612 horsepower that, consumes an astronomical amount of fuel, and goes from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.
