BMW has unveiled its groundbreaking 2025 M5, a powerhouse that combines traditional muscle with cutting-edge hybrid technology.
This latest iteration of the iconic sports sedan features a formidable 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with an electric motor, resulting in a staggering 717 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque.
Despite its impressive power output, the new M5 maintains BMW’s commitment to performance, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds while offering the flexibility of electric-only driving for short distances.
Step inside, and you’re greeted with various luxurious interior options. BMW’s highlight for 2025 is the Individual Full Merino Metallic leather package. Picture this: a stunning combination of black and dark violet bi-colour, or taupe grey with deep lagoon pearl effect bi-colours. It’s an eye-catching design, especially on the headrest and shoulder areas of the seats.
The new steering wheel design now comes with heating as standard—no extra fees here. The M5-specific interior lighting, Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System, heads-up display, and the Sky Lounge Panoramic Roof all come standard. For those prioritising performance, you can opt for a carbon roof, shaving off 66 lbs.
Tech lovers, rejoice! The 2025 M5 features BMW’s Operating System 8.5. This system minimizes physical buttons in the cabin, focusing on a sleek, curved display. The setup includes a 12.3-inch information display and a larger 14.9-inch control display with M-specific graphics icons.
